As responsible for admission, you will work as a supervisor of the admission advisor to monitor the burden of public work and allocate work and re -allocate it to ensure the fair balance of workforce and ensure the delivery of all work to the agreed time ranges, and the implementation of performance development reviews and the guidance of employees in the team.

It will work cooperatively with other admission employees to manage administrative jobs to support admission operations through the broader admission team, and to ensure the presence of correct resource levels and skills to provide a professional service to applicants and internal stakeholders.

You will build and maintain strong work relationships through the service during the admission course to understand the employment plans, inquiries and marketing related to acceptance and publish this information for admission consultants. It will also work as a major communication point in services, other colleges, or external bodies, including participation in networks or work to transfer information and receive it.

Excellent customer service skills are necessary to provide advice and support to employees in academic colleges, services and customers who explain the current policies, regulations and guidelines as necessary. It will also support identifying, developing and implementing improvements to current and new initiatives to improve service provision, review operations from end to end, develop and implement change plans, and ensure that the employees concerned fully to support changes in the administrative process. Understanding the acceptance course and knowing good work with technical systems that support this useful.

You will be responsible for providing specially designed services for groups of applicants (such as those who apply for training courses with professional body requirements or interviews), specialized admission management, logical payments, for example, confirmation of admission to studies checks, criminal condemnation (DBS), and professional health investigations.

You will have the opportunity to represent the university in open days and UCAS exhibitions, and it will serve as a link and source of information for other professional services.

We are looking for a person with strong customer service and excellent attention to detail with an excited commitment to enhance the applicant’s experience. You must also have excellent and proactive organizational skills.

We use a number of information technology systems such as Microsoft Office, sitting (admission database) and a number of external databases, so comfort with IT systems and the ability of new technologies is necessary.

This is a full -time, fixed -term, 37 hours per week, up to 31street May 2027.
