Unfortunately not contacted the ancient electrochemical furniture at the University of Manchester

address: Electrochemical non -pollution that is not connected to old pool furniture
The deadline for the application: 12/15/2025
Research topic: Minerals and corrosion

How to apply: https://uom.link/pgr-Apply-2425

UK only

This doctorate for 3.5 years is open to home applicants (UK). The successful candidate will receive an annual tax -exempt at a Ukraine rate (20,780 pounds for 2025/26, taking into account the annual height), in addition to paying tuition fees. We expect the salary to increase every year.

The exciting doctorate project, which is 3.5 years, aims to develop the non -excellent electrochemical pollution technology for old pool furniture (steel and stainless steel). To achieve the main goals, 3 comprehensive goals have been identified, focusing on (1) developing inspired electrochemical pollution removal procedure to be able to perform surface -to -control surface pollution treatments, (2) improve pollution removal efficiency using limited elements simulation, (III) (III) synchronization criteria using inactive methods, for SIMALATE.

Electrochemical polarization will be explored as a pollution removal tool, using a new electrochemical test method. This highly productive group allows assessing the effect of applied and/or current gradients to solve surface negative films. The main idea here is to allow the improvement of pollution removal in terms of high surface pollution. The process of removing electrochemical pollution will also be compared with current pollution removal treatments. The COMSOL moderation program will be used to improve and customize the application of electrochemical gradients in the engineering surfaces, which represents pond furniture. This allows the effect of conductivity, chemistry and electrochemical capabilities on the efficiency of pollution removal. This will provide an insight into the current potential distributions on the surface of the component, clean the surface, remove the negative film, and remove deep clean pollution (near the removal of surface materials).

Applicants must have, or expect to achieve, at least, at least 2.1 degrees or master’s degree (or international equivalent) in the field of relevant science or engineering.

To apply, please contact the supervisors; Professor Dirk Engelberg – dirk.engeelberg@manchester.ac.uk And Dr. Stevens – Nicholas.stevens@manchester.ac.uk.
