Platform infrastructure engineer – Security permit is required, Colorado Springs, Colorado
Basic duties and responsibilities for the job:
Monitor and improve the performance of the system and implement corrective procedures on the current basic system (basics).
– Experience in managing and maintaining the integration of applications that benefit from the concepts of current networks (TCP/IP, Guidance, Walls of Protection)
– Supervising and evaluating regular cybersecurity assessments and penetration test.
Developing and maintaining security accident plans and procedures.
– Developing and implementing text programs for automation and tools to simplify the maintenance of the articles of association, provide and manage the tasks of management.
– Publishing and managing machinery with VMWARE, VCINTER, Kickstart, Pupet, Foreman and Cis-Cat
Managing and forming the host’s safety systems.
Experience with Devops methodologies and tools, and support infrastructure as a symbol (IAC) within RHEL containers.
Use monitoring and registration tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elk, IBM NetCool and Solarwinds.
The minimum job requirements:
– Candidates must be qualified to obtain a secret permit. As part of the recruitment process, candidates may be required to provide personal identification information (PII) to assess their potential eligibility to conduct federal security clearance. All information will be collected and processed according to the applicable privacy laws and government security regulations.
Because of the requirements of the contract, only American citizens can be considered. It is not possible to consider candidates with double nationality.
At least 12 years of experience in the relevant field.
– At least 4 years of practical experience working with OpenSHIFT.
– Experiment/knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to manage, secure and maintain the environment infrastructure/platform is a bonus, but it is not required.
– The team player, the rapid learner with the ability to work proactively and independently to support the critical operations of the mission that supports various sites geographically.
– Candidates reside at a distance to work daily on the site and on the requirements of calls.
– This contract supports systems that require 24 x 7×365. Candidates should be ready and able to meet the summons requirements, including participation in the rotation schedule when connected.
Favorite skills and qualifications:
– Approved RED HAT specialist in OpenSHIFT Management, an accredited engineer from Red Hat (RHCE) or accredited RED HAT (RHCA)
