Participant researcher in the comparative chemical biology of antibodies at Imperial College London
About the role:
We are looking for an ambitious and creative chemical biologist with strong industrial chemical skills to join a group of professor at Imperial College, working to design and apply new sabotage techniques to discover new anti -drug communication (ADC).
ADCS provides the ability to improve the quality of life for millions of patients by combining unprecedented effectiveness with low side effects; They are among the fastest growing categories, as the market is expected to reach more than $ 30 billion in the next ten years. This is a rapidly evolving field, and has raised the relevant Spinouts from our laboratory more than $ 100 million of investing in the project so far (for example Myricx Bio, https://myricxbio.com/Siftr Bio, https://siftr.bio/).
Tate LAB recently developed a strong technical platform to discover De Novo for the critical link in ADC directly from the patient’s tissues, allowing a selective release of the drug to increase the therapeutic index to the maximum, which combines high effectiveness and low toxicity. You will have a unique opportunity to make foundational contributions to Linker ADC technology and its application in proving in the living body to concept studies, while cooperating with CRH Entrepreneurial Entrepreneurships (CRH), who support the project under the therapeutic catalyst. See Tate Group on the modern relevant leaves website (http://www.imperial.ac.uk/tate-group/), For example: Angew chemit 2023, e202311190; Jack 2022, 22493; Nat Kim Biol 2021, 776; Jack 2021, 8911; ACS CHEM BIOL 2020, 1306. More details will be discussed with confidence with the brief candidates.
What will you do:
You will be responsible for designing, combining and applying new selective links for the target delivery, with a focus on ADC links, using a new unannounced new novel. This work will include examination of patient tissue samples to create huge pillar data collections in high productivity; The application of automatic learning algorithms at home to determine the activity of the optimal and selective link; Completion and description of the candidates link; And prove concept studies to show their benefit in ADC designs.
You will join a team of distinguished scientists at the TATE laboratory at the Permanent Science Research Center, which costs 200 million pounds on the campus of the city of Imperial White City. Our collection is very culturally and multiplely, with the project difference at all levels of experience and a variety of backgrounds.

What we can offer you:
Working within the TATE group will give the opportunity to work with> 60 scholars at all levels of university students to researchers after a doctorate with our modern laboratories in West London.
