Participant lecturer in geography in Berkbeek, University of London
the College of Social Sciences In Birkbeck, the University of London aims to employ participating lecturer for teaching in the “Living with Climate Change” unit.
As a co -lecturer you will study:
- Live with climate change, postgraduate studies (level 7) (inside MSC Climate Change))
- 30 hours of teaching
- Teaching on Tuesday, 6-9 pm, from January to March 2026
You will have knowledge of the effects of global, regional climate change and weaknesses, climate adaptation, social, cultural, ethical, political and economic dimensions of climate work, and are qualified for the level of the award as required for teaching (or showing a professional experience/level of equivalent industry).
You will have a strong commitment to teaching graduate studies and to be qualified for the award for the award (minimal MSC) as required to teach (or show professional/equivalent industry).
Your role will be to connect teaching for Birkbeck students, in order to enable them to successfully complete their studies, and to do all related administrative duties as required.
In addition to a person’s specifications, the basic requirements for this role are the experience of teaching and research regarding adaptation to climate change.

Rewards:
The payment of each hour depends on the continuous service period with the college (the start rate is 69.68 pounds per hour, including the London pro -fees and holiday wages) for the contact hours. This hourly average depends on the starting point in the seventh grade and it includes “duties related to the teaching double” in 2.5, which covers preparation, teaching, management, evaluation marks and other examination duties in relation to the course.
