The Department of Studies in race, colonialism, and diaspora (RCD) at Tuffs University seeks part -time records to teach one preliminary course to separate the spring 2026 (01/14/26 – 05/08/2026) in the areas of original American studies or Latin studies. Teaching candidates are also encouraged at the intersection of these interconnected fields to apply.

The ideal candidate will prove a commitment to raising the transformation and the ability to teach training courses at the preliminary level that is in line with the mission of the administration to study race, colonialism and diaspora through local and global contexts in a critical manner.

Qualifications

The candidate must obtain a doctorate in a related field and be able to provide evidence of excellence in teaching, including evidence of creative educational practice that reflects the knowledge of current methodologies. Evidence of commitment to the design of the curricula that deal with equity and justice issues with a focus on marginalized societies.
