The College of Health and Life Sciences is now seeking to appoint a grant of teaching and professional practice of lecturers (TSPP) in optics to contribute to teaching, research, exchange of knowledge, exchange of projects and exchange of knowledge in the Department of Health Professions allied at the College of Health and Life Sciences.

The standard academic role in the university includes a mixture of teaching, scientific activity, professional practice, knowledge exchange, business participation and associated administrative activities. You will participate in Uni Professional (optics) and some multiple professional activities (AHP) across the department. Although all jobs will combine these fields of work, the relative weight for each of them will differ between and time for each role holder.

Postholder should have a degree related to the teaching of optics. It is desirable to be qualified to measure optics and that they are in GOC’s professional record and have experience in teaching and evaluating skills in practice. You should keep both first and master’s degree in professional qualification from discipline / equivalent or important practical experience in related discipline. You will use your knowledge to contribute to teaching, exchange of knowledge, institutions and business participation.

Applicants must keep or ready to achieve a naturally relevant educational qualification within two years of employment, that is, the adoption of the Higher Education Academy (co -colleague/colleague). It is advisable to membership of the relevant professional / professional body registered in the level of discipline / equivalence of professional practice.

The position that we fill in is exempt from the provisions of the rehabilitation of the perpetrators law and the disclosure of DBS satisfactory from the detection and prohibition service required as part of our clearance procedures.

Please note that due to the minimum salary sills imposed by UKVI, this post may be qualified to care for the university under the visa of the skilled workers visa.

This post is available as an academic teaching contract, scholarship and professional practice (TSPP) designed to enable employees to focus their work on the participation of industry along with teaching.
