About the role

As a great lecturer or lecturer in legal technology, you will play a leading role in developing and providing innovative teaching, research and scholarships at the intersection of law and technology.

Legal practice and legal education develops rapidly. Each of them requires practitioners and students to obtain traditional legal skills while developing the ability to understand and use new legal and digital technology. It will contribute to being the strategic ambition of the school at the forefront of legal education by including digital innovation, multidisciplinary perspectives, and enlightened curricula in the curriculum.

The School of Law benefits from excellent relationships with legal and commercial societies in England and Wales, and is expected to contribute to developing relations with external equipment to support the student’s experience and the reputation of Id Hill. It is also expected that you will contribute to the research activities of one of our research centers and/or to engage in knowledge exchange activities related to faculty members.

About you

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication skills and personal skills, as well as a commitment to provide an excellent student experience.

Evidence for providing an excellent educational experience is necessary. Doctorate (or one close to the end) in the relevant discipline, or the equivalent industry experience, is necessary. To meet the standards of higher lecturers, a research file and/or an exchange of knowledge in legal technology or digital innovation are required. To meet the criteria of the lecturer, the possibility of research and/or exchanging knowledge in legal technology or digital innovation must be proven.

Potential candidates will explain an understanding of the advanced dynamics of higher education in the United Kingdom and the world. A successful candidate will become a member of the multidisciplinary ambitious department with a wonderful reputation in teaching and research excellence.
