Lecturer in technical treatment at Derby University

About the role
Please note that the job title for this position will be a lecturer in therapeutic arts.
We are looking for part -time lecturers in therapeutic arts to join our team and play a major role in training the next generation of artists. Focusing on the ability to employ postgraduate studies, you will contribute to all aspects of teaching and supporting students, and preparing them to become practiced by the way they are selected.
During a journey in teaching theory, clinical expertise, group exploring, self -understanding, and helping them to develop the professional and personal skills required to succeed in this sedimentary field. This requires a deep commitment to the student’s experience and a real understanding of the exact differences between being a doctor and teacher.
As part of a firm and supportive team, you will also assume specific responsibilities within the development of the program, such as coordination of places, while contributing to the growth of arts treatments as a profession. You will participate in teaching, research and clinical practice, and to ensure our students benefit from the education -led education, practice coach, and aspecting appearance.
This role is to hold a fixed period of 0.8 FTE, for a period of two years
The expected date of the interview is Thursday 6Y November.
About you
We are looking for a very technical therapist to join our team. To be successful, MA will be held in art therapy and be recorded as HCPC as a practiced technical processor. You will bring a proven clinical trial, a strong commitment to students’ development, and the ability to share your experience in ways that inspire learners and involve them. The experience or knowledge of work in higher education is essential, as well as flexibility in using a set of innovative delivery techniques to create meaningful and effective educational experiences.
