About the role:

After a period of rapid growth and a new research strategy, an exciting opportunity arose in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering for the Research Support Officer to support the delivery of the strategy through high -quality research management, with a focus on developing and improving operations after the air.

PostHolder will support the management of strategic grants, with a special focus on the selected projects that have been identified as a more dedicated administrative attention and those that are in line with the research strategy. The pregnant woman will be well with experience in managing and developing research projects.

This crowded and varied role requires multiple tasks, fulfilling the final dates, and interacting with employees at all levels. It is expected that the initiative and work will be displayed independently.

This is a full -time two -year postponed two -year.

What will you do:

Research strategy operations

In this field, it will:

  • Payment of operational improvements by reviewing research systems and procedures, implementing the new schedule system, and developing training resources to support compliance with university policies and fun.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives by helping to coordinate strategic bids, including organizing meetings, preparing budgets, and collecting documents.
  • Supporting departments research activities, including overseeing data collection for reference 2029, medium -term assessments, and coordinating all processes related to hosting research visitors.

Grant Management Portfolio

In this field, it will:

  • Supervising financial issues and compliance with a set of strategic grants, ensuring expenditures compatible with interesting and university policies, preparing audit reports, and monitoring claims.
  • Providing administrative support and human resources through work as the communication maker and the main decision on discretion, support for employment and contracting extensions, and maintaining the records of the accurate schedule.
  • Performs in contractual operations by contacting the contracts and European Union teams to manage agreements and solve issues in the grant portfolio.

What we are looking for:

You will have a Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent), with experience installed in financial management, including budget, prediction and providing financial information in a clear and meaningful way.

You will also have experience in customer -focused service management, as well as sound knowledge of financial management, research and contracts, financier policies, and full economic cost.

Time management and excellent communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to work cooperatively, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.

Strong analytical and creative skills to solve problems are the key to success.
