Are you an ambitious researcher looking for the next challenge? Do you have a background in reproductive or developmental biology? Do you want to enhance your career in one of the leading universities in the United Kingdom in the field of research?

We are looking for a post -doctoral colleague with high motivated doctorates to join Dr. Karen Forbes and Professor Elianor Scott. Our main interests are to understand how the mother’s negative environment affects the growth of the placenta and the results of pregnancy and long -term health of the offspring.

This multidisciplinary project will be used, funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC), molecular, cellular and physiological methods to investigate the role of vesicles outside the cell on the results of long -term pregnancy and health of the offspring in complex pregnancy due to parental diabetes.

The mail holder is expected to use a group of human clinical samples, mouse models of pregnancy and advanced in laboratory tissue models. The role will also include photography inside the live body, intertwined heart attack and the application of omics techniques including text science, proteins and metabolism.
