Job title
Research Group Hydraulicism in environmental and civil engineering (HECE) provides a post -doctoral site to conduct research related to the modeling of the risk of flooding and successive effects, as part of an international project funded by the European Union.
The research position focuses primarily on the following topics.
- Modeling the hydrodine effects of bridge blockage by floating debrisDesign new laboratory experiments that allow monitoring how flooding flows by bridge blockage due to floating debris, developing practical models, testing models and pairing with a two -dimensional hydrodinical model, and applied to real case studies.
- Tension testing temporary flood storage systemsDesigning and implementing investigative studies with stakeholders on current practices and guidelines, comprehensive modeling for the performance of temporary flood storage systems (from rain to flood damage and risks), evaluation and analysis of the remaining risks, and procedures for the semi -automatic situation of temporary flood storage systems based on multi -hander.
