About the role

The University of Creative Arts (UCA) is looking for an experienced academic leader to take over a pivotal role The headmaster of the Institute of Creativity and Innovation (ICI), a dynamic institute for joint projects between XMU and UCA. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of an institution that redefines how to teach creativity in China.

As school director, you will lead a team of academic faculty members and supervise the presentation of a variety of university courses through specializations such as visual arts, environmental design, visual communication design and new media. The successful candidate will be responsible for forming the strategic direction, academic excellence and operating success of ICI, ensuring that the advanced requirements of Chinese creative industries.

About you

The appropriate candidate will have the motivation and experience needed to oversee the running and successful expansion of the institute and increase the development of his portfolio of training courses in line with the needs of the emerging Chinese creative industries.
