On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana at Bihar via video conferences. As part of the launch, it will directly transport 10,000 rupees for each bank accounts of 75 women in all parts of the state, reaching a total exchange of 7,500 rupees.

The plan, which is presented by the Bihar government, aims to empower women by enhancing free job opportunities and livelihoods. It will provide financial assistance to one woman from each family in the state, encouraging them to start small companies or income generation activities they choose.

Initial financial assistance can follow 10,000 rupees with additional support based on eligibility. “Assistance can be used in the beneficiary selection areas, including agriculture, animal education, handicrafts, sewing, weaving and other small institutions,” a press release from the Prime Minister (PMO) was used.
