The future trip program (SJF), which is led by computing and information services (CIS), the Directorate of Academic Services (SASD) jointly provides CIS and the Student and Academic Services Directorate (SASD) program for a change in millions of pounds.

This role will be a fixed role for two years in one of the main strategic projects of universities. This role will be reported by the director of the SJF program, but it will work in the structure of the matrix management with close links in our strategy delivery unit to align the methods of changing and delivering the project. The Strategy Delivery Unit focuses on changing the way the University of Durham thinks and provides change, with a main focus on professional coordination and delivery of the university strategy.

We are looking for a very continuous improvement specialist, with distinguished personality skills and focusing on successful implementation. The mail holder is expected to take responsibility for providing continuous improvement experience in the SJF program.

The activity of holders will include:

• Diagnosing the needs of stakeholders,
• Providing guidance / promoting the best practices approach in the design / improvement process,
• Impact on stakeholders to obtain participation,
• Agreement on a project designed approach,
• Apply the process of improving the process in cooperation with the change teams and general support for improvement activity.

The mail holder can expect direct driving (facilitating the workshop, collecting and analyzing data, appointment, etc.), building ability (training, demonstration, etc.) and supporting stakeholders for progress through training.

You will need to develop in -depth knowledge and understand the university structure and processes. You should be able to work cooperatively with individuals of employees at all levels throughout the university, providing support in addition to proactive engagement with individuals and groups.
