The University of Windsor is located on the traditional lands of the three firefighters of the fires in the first nations: OJIBWA, Odawa and Potawatomie.

The web designer will play a major role in helping to raise the level of profile and awareness of the university through the implementation and coordination of online marketing activities to attract new students to the university through the creation and management of digital content, and to develop and maintain the presence of the online existence for the institution on its website, social media, and partners ’sites (i.e. the third party promotional) supports the employment of students.

A successful candidate will be:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. computer science) or similar discipline in the manner determined by the plus section, two years of direct web design and/or the experience of the front web development; Or the college diploma in the field of relevant (IEIE Design, Web Development, Design and Development of Interaction, etc.
• Experience appears in the development and implementation of editorial calendars and communications, including creating design and content for a variety of media options (i.e. printing, web, social media)
• Knowledge of best practices in the Internet marketing on the Internet, including web use, easy access, improvement, and user experience.
• The ability to determine the priorities of the task and multiple tasks and work in the team’s environment, as well as independently
• Show the ability to cooperate with technical professionals and understand technical requirements for web technologies
• Introduction experience with mobile devices, interactive and social media tools, technologies and best practices including but not limited Electronic.
• Digital drawing, development or generation experience
• Experience in maintenance of the site using the content management system such as Drupal
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including exceptional writing skills
• Skills to deal with others are sophisticated with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders
• The ability to overcome the work burden required during the adherence to the final dates
• The ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools and processes
• Experience and evaluation of skills for web content
• Efficiency with the Internet and communications are commonly used and relevant computer applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, access and laziness
• Knowing the current HTML and CSS criteria, including best use and accessible practices
• The intermediate efficiency of the Creative Adobe wing or its equivalent
• Understand AODA and CASL requirements

• Previous experience in developing higher education, media relationships, public relations, or communications
• Experience using a marketing automation platform, such as Eloqua.
