Opportunity

the Director of Knowledge, Records and Information Management (Director) It is a newly created operational leadership position with an opportunity to direct the development of culture and participation of knowledge in Macarthur. This role will be under the supervision of the Administrative Director of Basic Services and the Knowledge Management Team (KM) leads. Basic duties and responsibilities

  • Be sure to manage the institution’s information assets, including at the program level, throughout its life cycle with a clear commitment to the practices that can be accessed and comprehensive to manage information and knowledge and benefit from it, while mitigating the risks, enhancing the operational effectiveness and efficiency, and supporting decision -making.
  • Determining and implementing ways to benefit from artificial intelligence, technologies, tools and other emerging systems to ensure that knowledge, records and information management are effective, effective and fair to support the institution’s mission and goals.

Knowledge management

  • Leading and participating in continuous innovation, joint development, application, and maintenance of multiple projects that facilitate the institution’s ability to extract its records and intellectual origins.
  • Supervising the implementation and management of operations and practices to capture, provide, preserve and use the fundamental and permanent value materials, in any media, in line with edge policies and archives in the first place.

Records and information management

  • Leading the strategy and operations of the record and information program at the level of the institution (RIM) in partnership with the RIM Committee to improve commercial operations to ensure supervision, appropriate access and re -use of information, compliance with the law and best practices in managing and storing records and disposing of them in all formats.
  • Supervising continuous implementation and running of the RIM policy and program. Make sure to create procedures to properly get rid of records and non -records, maintain the integrity of basic records and provide appropriate control of access to the institution’s information assets.

The required qualifications and experience

  • At least 10 years experience in records and fields of information management and knowledge, with experience in developing a safe and informed information environment on learning and multi -level and implementing a program of records and management of effective and effective information.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in information/library science, business administration, or related discipline.
