salary: Usually the start -up salary in the range is 33,002 pounds sterling to 35,608 pounds sterling with possible progress once in the post to 39,906 pounds.

Role summary

Our mission is to work in partnership with students to enable them to participate and achieve their goals and grow at the university.

It is important for students to have a positive and distinctive experience in every step of their professional life at the university. Therefore, the postal holder is responsible for enhancing students’ participation, leading the continuous improvement in the student’s experience through a set of projects, and ensuring that students are supported appropriately throughout their journey to graduation and outside.

While some of these improvements to the student’s experience and sharing will be informed of the students ’comments, the postal holder will adopt a proactive approach, participation with students and employees on a daily basis and also searching for best practices throughout the university and the broader sector to review, evaluate, enhance services, education and learning.

By working with colleagues of academic and professional services throughout the university, the postal holder will greatly work in the ability to coordinate the project to: develop and coordinate the presentation of an annual activity program to support students; Student notes mechanisms management in order to determine the chances of promoting student experience; And provide a set of dynamic communications to all students. They will also provide the first point of communication to a wide range of problems related to students’ transfer, movement, progress and their retain.

Despite the focus on current students, the postal holder will also provide an important role in working with colleagues in employing students, admission, professions, business participation and graduate relationships to join the activity through the full student trip.

Person specifications

• He received his education to the level of certificate or related experience in a similar role
• Great experience in supporting students in higher education (whether in energy or paid)
• They are for university students, graduate and international studies, distance learning and a course of life, specifically, issues that affect higher education (at the national and international levels) and the importance of the student’s experience
• Understanding the importance of student notes systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent skills in dealing with others and the ability to work with a group of stakeholders, including students, academics and senior managers, through the institution and a high degree of personal accountability with the ability to influence support, motivate and win
• Pre -proactivity, with high motives and well -organized, with the ability to work on a special initiative and determine the priorities of work burdens in order to prepare and coordinate new activity or initiatives with a flexible, creative and proactive approach to solve problems
• Prepare to do things differently and has experience in providing projects and initiatives with measurable and delivery results
• The ability to analyze data and use results to inform the procedure planning
