summary:
We are looking for a large database official and data engineer to join our team in Distrokid. A successful candidate will play an important role in designing, developing and maintaining our data infrastructure with the availability, expansion and performance of our databases and data lines. This role will work with data analysts, data scientists, data engineers, software and safety developers, Devops and regime operations peers. If you have a strong background in databases, database and infrastructure, a passion for music and entertainment, we encourage you to submit the application and help forming the scene of global music distribution.

The jam session (what will you do):

• Design, development and maintaining solutions to develop and reliable database and data pipelines.
• Provide the plan design and development strategies to help growing data needs.
• Building and maintaining infrastructure with modern tools (for example, Terraform) to ensure consistency and automation.
• Monitor, improve and control the performance of database systems and databases for high availability and response.
• Implementing and imposing data security and governance practices in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Partner with multifunctional teams to support analytical initiatives, products and engineering initiatives.
• Currently stay with emerging trends and technologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure in Distrokid.

The band colleague is basic (Skills/Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or a relevant field; Favorite master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as MySQL DBA, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including SQL control, and DB performance.
• Solid understanding of DB development concepts, including data modeling, scheme design and dimensional modeling.
• He is mastered in Bethon.
• A Big Plus is to know Redshift, DBT, Dagster, Airflow, AWS, DMS, Terraform and Redis.
• Strong skills to solve problems, with the ability to explore complex data problems and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi -functional team environment.
