Researcher Assistant/participant at the University of Glasgow

James Watt College of Engineering for Computing Sciences is looking for an assistant / researcher to provide a contribution / leadership in an international cooperative research team that contributes to the progress of quantum technologies in compliance with national strategies in the United Kingdom – and Canada. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of research publications and financing proposals, and will receive the opportunity to help forming the project’s future trends. It supports the role of your professional development, and provides the independence of increasing research and meaningful international cooperation.
We welcome applications from researchers with strong interest in quantum technologies, including quantum materials, spintronics, or infrared and thz, and adherence to open collaborative research.
You will join the coherent optimal and manipulation project in Magnon to transfer information (commitment) – an exciting international cooperation between the University of Glasgow and the University of Manitoba, Canada.
This project is only one of 10 chosen as part of the quantum technologies in the United Kingdom and the Canada for scientific cooperation, with the support of 6.5 million pounds in financing. Commonice explores quantum magnesis to transform information processing, with a strong focus on basic sciences, innovation and global cooperation.
