About the role
Applications are invited to fill a part -time assistant in part -time assistant at the ARQ Center, Faculty of Engineering and Equipment (SEMS) at Queen Mary University in London. The project is funded by the United Kingdom’s innovation and will be supervised by Dr. Kito Chang. The manipulation and careful vision systems will achieve more efficient and accurate tasks, reducing employment costs and relying on seasonal workers.

The postal holder will be responsible for the activities of the search and the development of automated manipulators and the final events with the integrated sensing capacity to manipulate accuracy, as well as work closely with the project collaborators. Research and development will take place in automated manipulation, focusing on advanced sensing techniques to integrate with the final automatic effects. This will include the development of appropriate control algorithms to enable careful and accurate manipulation of high -value gardener crops, such as grapes, berries and other fruits.

About you
Applicants must have a strong record of tracking in the field of robotics, mechanical or mechanic engineering, preferably with relevant experience in manipulation and automated applications. A great experience is needed in the design of robots, modeling and control, as well as familiarity with advanced sensing and mobile phone manipulation. The successful candidate will also work closely with student projects, and publish the results of the main research actively through publications.
