The Department of Sports Sciences at the University of Carnegie Mellon is inviting requests for post -doctorate for a period of two years on September 1, 2026. The situation focuses on applied analysis and related fields of applied and accounting mathematics. The situation is connected to the NSF RTG grant "Applied analysis limits". Consequently, American citizens, citizens and permanent residents are only qualified. Depending on the expected continuity of funding and performance, the situation may be extended to the third year. PhD qualifications in mathematics or discipline are closely related. Preference will be given to the candidates who have shown a distinguished promise and/or excellent achievements in searching in a wide range of applied and calculating mathematics. This includes PDE, the calculus calculation of differences, possibility and random analysis, numerical analysis, and scientific machine learning. Attention is also estimated in multidisciplinary efforts. Commitment and experience in teaching and directing student research is also desirable.
