This supervisory position is responsible for the professional and technical specialized work related to the municipality, society, province and regional transportation planning, especially in terms of its connection with the allocation of federal transport in the field of federal transport and capital funds under the auspices of the Board of Transport in Orange County, the Capital Planning Organization for Orange County (MPO). The work is carried out under the supervision of Commissioner of Planning Director/MPO with the permissible latitude line to practice independent judgment in implementing transportation planning activities. It exercises supervision of professional, technical and written employees. The relevant work is carried out as required.

The minimum qualifications: either: a) possession of a master’s degree in planning for transportation, planning or field closely related and four (4) years of experience where the basic function of this position was regional, boycott, municipal or transportation activities, two years of which must be in the field of transportation planning; Or B) Obtaining a bachelor’s degree in planning for transportation, planning or a closely related field (6) years of experience as shown in (A) above, it must be two years (2) of which in a supervisory capacity in the field of transportation planning.

Some model work activities related to transport and transit units include:

• Supervising the management of the grant program, including saving financial notebooks, demand requirements, payment and reporting;
• Coordination of the formulation of reports, appointment, schedule, planning studies, program services, performance reviews in coordination with management employees, advisers and other regional, federal, state and local entities;
• Regulating and analyzing data for plans and studies and monitoring performance improvements, compliance or plan.
• Prepare reports and recommendations;
• Ensuring public participation, education and communication with regard to delivery of services,/or the board of transportation and/or programs;
• Providing guidance to municipalities, a member of the Board of Transport and Management of the Activities of the Board of Transport.

Salary: For District employees – according to the 18 -grade Csea contract. For new employees – grade 18, step 02 – as of $ 2025 USD 49,8268/hour; 103,639.74 dollars annually (40 -hour business week)
