By joining the very respectable purchasing team, your role will be to build major relationships with internal partners and to connect the solutions and final value of the sources

Procurement categories. You will be responsible for identifying purchasing strategies with internal stakeholders, to support the managers of categories (information technology, services, laboratories, real estate, etc.), and to provide the best value for money and proper purchases in individual projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a team that is responsible for more than 100 million pounds, unpaid spending in one of the best universities in UKS.

About the role

You will play a meaningful role in ensuring that the university increases value and reduces risks in buying goods, services and business. We are looking for a stunning and flexible purchasing professional in their approach to applying category skills across a group of sub -categories and groups. You will have a good understanding of the public purchasing law specifically and the contract law in general and ideal, it will be a full member of CIPS, or work for full membership.

Main requirements

  • Institute of Carted Institute to buy and offer at least to level 4 (diploma) or study towards the Diploma of the Foundation 4.
  • The work experience in a professional purchase role that includes tenders, negotiation and contract management
  • Knowing the electronic participation systems
  • Very organized, able to work on tight final dates and deal with conflicting priorities.
  • Point strongly with high levels of the initiative.
  • It is able to build effective relationships and actively and cooperative as part of a team.
  • It is able to produce clear reports, summarize complex problems and apply effectively to small teams, committees and work group

The necessary skills, experience and qualifications

  • Membership of the Legal Institute for purchase and presentation (CIPS) to the 4
  • The work experience in a professional purchase role in the public sector that includes tenders, negotiation and contract management, in accordance with the regulations of public contracts (2015) and/or the purchasing law (2023) with knowledge of electronic participation systems
