Health and Welfare Coordinator at the University of Rafinsburn in London

Role
In Raversbourne, we are looking for a health and well -being coordinator to join the health support and luxury support team in our student services.
Our health and luxury coordinators are located at the Student Experience Center, where they provide support for luxury through 1: 1 meetings, creating luxury events and promoting mental health support throughout the university, and working with external agencies to create personal support plans for students who need this.
You will support students on their journey in Raversbourne, and work closely with our coordinators, other managers and other departments, will help them reach their full potential. It will organize and lead students’ welfare meetings, including those that have communicated with faculty and guardians, or the parents of the student. The coordinator is expected to lead the meeting and ensure a supportive and positive environment to discuss any problems, with a focus on the decision and the following steps clearly specified.
The role includes the mental health support for students, planning to provide welfare events, nutrition to develop the welfare of students, and work with protection leads to referring any concerns of protection in time
You will be able to work flexibly, including working hours at some evenings and weekend holidays as required. You will build relationships with external support groups including charities and NHS as well as stakeholders in the relevant health and luxury, with a focus on creating a respondent guide for services that students can be referred to.
Strong communication with our student service teams and other departments is necessary.

You have …
A good understanding of the mental health needs of university students and the best way to support vulnerable students and youth.
A guaranteed approach in planning events and delivery and a good understanding of how to approach and increase participation with students.
The experience of providing individual support and showing a compassionate and effective approach to protect and support well -being.
The experience of providing support to youth or youth about mental and luxury health. The experience of managing a large group of students with complex needs, developing individual support plans, leading meetings and referring protection issues in time and effectively.
