Netskrt is looking for talent and enthusiast Data engineer To join us Analysis team. This is it Hybrid (3 days WFH) is located in our beautiful Downtown Vancouver Office, next to the Borrad SkyTrain station.


In Netskrt, we are a very paid team that focuses on building innovative products and services that promote customer experience in broadcasting video on the edge of the network. We have developed a set of interconnected technologies aimed at companies that offer Wi-Fi customers in restricted reinforcing environments.


This role provides practical experience through the infrastructure of data, networks, security and cloud technologies-all with the solution of complex problems in preparing the start of dynamic operation, along with prominent engineers and a driving team with a strong record of success.

Main responsibilities:

  • Cooperation with multi -functional teams to design and maintain strong and developed data pipelines that are automated, transferred and uploaded from sources such as databases and the application programming interface and flat files.
  • Merging and unifying the sources of diverged data for analytical purposes and reporting.
  • Development and maintenance of structured data models and warehouses using best practices in the industry.
  • Design and improve ETL processes to deal with both actual time flows and payment burden.
  • Monitor and explore the progress of data work for performance and expansion.
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts and business intelligence teams to provide influential solutions.
  • Data quality, integrity, and compliance with all workflow.


The required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of practical experience in data engineering or relevant fields.
  • Efficiency in management and distinguishing between batch treatment pipelines.
  • A strong understanding of data modeling, ETL design, and architectural engineering.
  • Working experience with widely distributed data systems.
  • Excellent skills to solve problems and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong and efficient communication skills for cooperation.
  • The ability to multiply tasks and prosper in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Constant learning passion and stay at the top of the engineering innovations of data.


Required qualifications:

  • Programming: Bethon, Scala, or Java
  • Big data: Hadooop, Spark, Kafka or similar frameworks
  • Databases: SQL and NosQL systems such as posgresql, ClickHouse or Cassandra
  • Imagination: Gravana, Superstit, Kibana
  • Automation of workflow: APache air flow or equivalent coincidence tools
  • Version Control: Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbuckket)
  • Comfortable application programming facades and construction of developed data pipelines
  • Cloud: Experience with AWS (for example, Redshift, S3, Lambda), Google Cloud (Bigquness, Dataflow), or Azure (Data Lake, SQL Data Warehouse))
