Communications Coordinator at Cambridge University

Cambridge Zero has an exciting opportunity as part of our communications and participation team, to support the delivery of the communication strategy and participation in Cambridge Zero, which enhances the work that is accomplished throughout the university to solve the climate crisis.

Do you have experience in:

  • Writing news, social media or the content of the web site?
  • Using design tools such as Canva and Adobe Acrobat, etc.?
  • Writing attractive content and connecting complex concepts and academic ideas to a wide range of fans who are not experts

In this role, you will support the delivery of communication and participation strategy in Cambridge Zero in all activity programs.

This includes public participation, internal and external communications, public affairs, research communications, charitable participation and graduate participation, students’ participation and media relations.

It will help develop content and activities, support the head of communications and provide assistance to the rest of the team in the communication and participation activity.

Cambridge Zero is to increase the contribution of Cambridge University to achieving a flexible and sustainable world.

We do this by empowering, integrating and accelerating climate activities related to education, research and innovation.

We are working in the role of coordination and support through the full academic life cycle; Connecting, contracting and involving the full breadth of the Great University community (i.e. the university, colleges and related institutions).

By disposing of close cooperation and partnership with a wide range of university jobs, we help integrate, enhance and accelerate climate activities.
