Applications are invited to fill the post of post -PhD research to work on an independent laboratory to discover materials within the intensive physics group in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester. The successful candidate will work on the front of physics, chemistry, materials science and Amnesty International, and developing the workflow to discover autonomy.

You may focus on experimental platforms (growth, characterization, electrical chemistry), mathematical modeling or artificial intelligence/automation, depending on your unique background. You will have, or you are about to obtain a doctorate (or equivalent) by the date of the start of the project in physics, material science, chemistry, engineering, or related fields. The efficiency installed in programming and writing of quality research leaves are necessary. We aim to appoint an individual with strong experience across multiple fields (see “knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications” desirable in the job description). The filter should be well organized and self -motivated with excellent communication skills. Projects are expected to lead to highly influential scientific publications, data groups, technological developments and a strong increase in the PDRA profession.
