Cen-325-06 User Services Director and Management

The London School of Hygiene and Equity Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities.

We look forward to employing user services and manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the small information technology team at a pioneering research university.

The user services team and support management provides employees and graduate students in many areas, including the user account management, shared folders, post boxes, printing services, programs support and some specialized activities.

In addition to participating in the above duties and leading the team with these activities, the role is expected to be a good mix of support and projects; It will cover a wide range of tasks and meet a wide range of people. You can take the initiative in many technical projects and challenges related to user services and management, which will include communication with various internal and external teams of IT services. You will be asked to manage the work burden for the team as well as to perform the duties of line management. The team will also be on Rota to get the confrontation line speeches along with colleagues from our other support teams.

This role would suit an individual with some experience in managing the line or supervisor and background in supporting users with information technology problems and requests. The user services manager and management must be a technical, but also focusing on customers and service. Other details are included in the job description.

This post is 35 hours full -time per week, 1 FTE and durable.

The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, grade 6 in the range of 45,728 pounds – 51,872 pounds annually. The post will be subject to LSHTM terms and service provisions. The annual leave right is 30 working days per year, PRO RATA for part -time employees. In addition, there are appreciation “welfare days”. Pension scheme membership is available. The post is located in London.
