The Department of Psychology at the University of Lancaster seeks to appoint One of the senior researchers of full Badoum (grade 7) or a research colleague (row 8), To work on Protecting ordinary people from Deepfakes project. We are looking for a software/automatic education engineer (or the like) to work in a multidisciplinary team that provides reports to Dr. Sophie Knightgil (the main investigator).

The project is funded by the ESRC/ESRC/ESRC/ESRC/ESRC/ESRC/ESRC/ESRC/ESRC/ESRC/ESRC/EsRC As part of this team, we are looking for either of them

  • A researcher to lead; or
  • One of the senior researchers to contribute to the leadership:

The guaranteed verification system has evolved alongside the illegal use of Deepfake technology to commit violence against women and girls by creating intimate intimate images. A successful candidate will be responsible for the daily development and management of the system that will initially use face recognition technology. As such, the candidate is expected to have excellent skills in software/software engineering in addition to efficiency in dealing with sensitive and confidential data. The candidate will work closely with the main investigator and other team members to integrate the results and experimental theory to develop new tools and technologies, or to develop the system development. We will also participate in the design with the project partners, including the police, the public and charities to ensure that the system is useful, reliable, reliable and sustainable.

We are looking for someone with experience in:

  • Software/machine learning engineering, machine,
  • Automated data collection (crawl, scraping, analysis),

By working closely with the main investigator, the successful candidate at the colleague in research will lead and direct the research team on a daily basis to ensure the presentation of the project goals and research priorities through a major cooperative project. In any of the major research assistants or research colleagues, you will participate with the project’s external partners and stakeholders (including media and public public), project publishing activities, and project representation in conferences.

It is home to a friendly group that includes about 40 academic members, with teams of research and professional services and technical staff. The department supports a large group of university research students, master’s and graduate studies; A wide range of research projects, including many cross grants.
