Summary of jobs
Providing reports to the first director, reviewing the engineering plan, this position is responsible for conducting engineering assessments for development proposals to ensure conformity with the policies, regulations and principles of relevant directives. Cooperation with CVC and municipal planning employees and savings to solve concerns related to development applications is required, as well as supporting the broad CVC initiatives associated with maintaining, protecting and restored water resources and water resources.
Civil requirements
- After high school education, specialized in water resources management
- The eligatization of PEO is a balance
- At least 5 years experience related to municipal infrastructure service or land development engineering
- Knowing a strong process by planning water gatherings, natural risks and principles of environmental resources management
- Handing over the sophisticated policies and practices in the management of storms and plateau water, as well as the law of preservation authorities and the law to improve lakes and rivers
- Practical knowledge of hydrological and hydraulic models: HEC-2, HEC-RAS, OTTSWM, Visual Otthymo, PCSWMM, Epaswm, Swmhymo, Gawser, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with artistic and non -artistic audiences
- The experience of work in the principles of erosion and control in deposits, design and inspection is a balance
- Knowing the principles and practices of geomorphology and/or practices is one of the origins
- Analytical skills
- Critical to review the work of others critically to determine the issues of domain, allergies and/or interpretation
Summary of the main tasks
Performing the following tasks under the direction:
- The Audit Law, the Law of the Conservation and Other Applications for Development from the Perspective of Water Resources Engineering and the Perspective of Natural Risk Management, to determine where the CVC policy and the program interests are affected
- Review and provide engineering comments on applications related to planning and development and municipal and internal initiatives, as well
- Make the site/field visits to support the requests for permits, planning and customer inquiries
- Providing an approach directed towards the solution while showing the strengths of critical thinking, analytical analyzes, the principles of sound engineering and scientific principles
- Implementing the policies and organizational programs for planning and organizational programs in terms of their connection with technical (engineering) issues – given the federal and regional/local policy.
- Support for continuous review of water gatherings and hydrological and hydraulic models, and the associated flood maps of them
- Cooperation on a continuous basis with professionals in other specializations in CVC and partner government agencies
- It is regularly involved in the update and refinement of CVC policies, guidelines, strategies related to planning, regulation and water management that adheres to sound engineering practices/principles. The authority is represented in the external committees related to water management
- Check and evaluate corrosion and control measures on construction sites associated with planning and development applications. Connecting results and recommendations for any necessary improvements to several interest owners
- The authority represents as an expert witness in listening sessions and in other legal procedures as required
- Providing excellent customer service (internal and external) through personal communication skills and effective communication
- Other duties and tasks, as necessary for this position
