About the role
This research is supported by a project grant from the Biological and Biological Sciences Research Council with joint financing of the components of ARLA Foods and is in partnership with a participant in Birmingham (Professor Gareth Walis) and cooperation in Bath (Dr. Sean Williams).
The researcher will take responsibility for the recruitment of participants and the daily experiments management, including the coordination of research students as required.
This project is an excellent training opportunity and includes many modern technologies-including the biochemistry of the blood, the indirect price, and the application of stable isotopes to study human metabolism. There will also be opportunities to see how research can affect the vicinity of the industry.
About you
The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting random experiments with an inferiority using methods for evaluating glucose metabolism such as blood samples and treating the stable theoretical consequences of glucose.
You will hold a doctorate in a related field; A lower degree offer (grade 6) may be made with a similar decrease in responsibilities and modification in the job title for the search assistant, if a suitable applicant cannot be found to fill the seventh grade position. The applicants will need to be within six months of the date of completion of the training course and will be promoted to a researcher once a doctorate is awarded.
