About the role

As a coach/teacher of the industrial disciples of mechanisms, you will play a vital role in developing the next generation of accuracy engineers for Rolls-Royce and the broader supply chain. You will plan, hand over and evaluate high -quality teaching and learning in CNC and machines, ensure the trainees acquire technical knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary for success in their career and passing the ending point evaluation. Using modern facilities at the Nuclear Skills Academy, it will provide practical training in areas such as grinding, transformation, grinding and inspection, with the support of the foundation theory. Besides, you will direct and train the trainees individually and in groups, support their progress, include English, mathematics, professional behaviors, and help them develop confidence and efficiency in prosperity. By working cooperatively with colleagues and employers, it will contribute to continuous growth and the effect of the Academy of Nuclear Skills and ensure that the trainees are ready to meet the highest safety, quality and performance standards.

About you

It will bring a strong professional experience in manufacturing and CNC processes, supported by related professional qualifications at 3, 4 (or higher) levels. With a strong understanding of vocational training delivery, you will have experience in training, guidance and evaluation of the trainees, and a clear vision of what appears to be teaching, learning and good evaluation in practice. You will be a team player to work with colleagues and employers to connect a smooth vocational training experience, with confident also to support the trainees individually to meet their potential. Ideally, you will hold a qualification for teaching (or be ready to achieve one at level 5) and you have knowledge of internal and external verification operations. Above all, you will put the trainee in the center of everything you do, combine your technical experience and your passion for teaching to help form the future workforce in advanced machines and manufacturing.
