Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating marketing and communications strategies designed to enhance programs, courses, services, events and workshops provided by the administration.
- Developing, managing, implementing and evaluating marketing and communications strategies, campaigns and marketing plans with goals, goals, target audiences, marketing means and performance standards that are compatible with the strategic priorities of management, in consultation with others.
- Design and distribution of digital marketing and printing materials including e -mail campaigns, articles, ads, display ads, social media content and search engine ads.
- Write the content of marketing and communications such as articles, advertisements, e -mail messages, social media functions, promotional guarantee and new versions that target fragmented and varied fans.
- Make sure to connect marketing initiatives and keep the project’s participants to inform the project process through the regular reports and correspondence.
- Developing strong business relationships with the main stakeholders, internal and external, to develop and implement comprehensive marketing programs, ensure that the final dates and goals are fulfilled in line with the department’s plans.
- Web management, social media platforms and other digital assets to ensure improvement through the application of best practices in content development, user experience, web site structure, search engine marketing and performance tracking.
- Management and determination of scheduling and implementation of joint/partner promotional events, online seminars, advertising strategies for internal and external opportunities such as information sessions, participants in speaking and professional conferences.
- Designing and implementing e -mail campaigns for marketing, events and social media projects using CRM solutions and supporting planning for departments technology.
- Evaluating and measuring the performance of the marketing campaign that calculates awareness, records and the general return on investment.
- Development and presentation of presentations for internal and external partners.
- Analysis, research and provision based on evidence for future strategic approach, campaigns structures, and activities to enhance work and marketing goals.
- Development and conduct of investigative studies, facilitate concentration groups, full competitive reviews, analyze the direction of industry, and test campaigns across the multiple market sectors to support the development of marketing and communications strategy.
- Develop and monitor the marketing budget to ensure that spending, forecasting, reconciling and allocating expenditures are aligned, in consultation with others.
- Prepare cost and resources estimates for various marketing initiatives and events and make sure to meet the expenses spending requirements.
- Negotiate the conditions of service with various suppliers, agencies, distributors and designers.
- Create and maintain high -quality professional standards for all relevant productions from the department
- Responding to inquiries and advising others regarding new programs and the effectiveness of the specific marketing and communications means.
- They are currently with marketing trends and developments in new technologies and social media platforms.
- It is currently with Canadian and international government legislation, ethical standards, policy documents related to marketing, data collection, privacy, and access.
Supervision: Continuous responsibility for overseeing up to 9 casual employees at any time.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related study field.
- It requires 4 years of relevant experience.
The role of the Marketing and Communications Manager must be occupied by a skilled writer and editor in an exceptional way that includes his personal file:
- Knowing the Canadian Press style guide and best practices in the press.
- Extraordinary writing and editing skills, the ability to create content quickly, creatively and accurately and to obtain a variety of media while maintaining the highest quality.
- The ability to understand and distract complex academic information in a clear language.
- Strong monetary thinking and analytical skills.
- Computer skills, including web development and social media experience.
- Advanced knowledge, understanding of marketing, communications, media relations and planning for strategic communications.
- The ability to facilitate and diverse stakeholders, including faculty, employees, students, graduates and executives/members of the Consultative Council.
- Managing strong projects and organizational skills to meet the changing and sensitive final dates for time.
- Graphic design, photography experience, and/or work experience in an academic institution
