Today we visit the main city in Poitou. Poites Echo has a site of battles, one of which is a victory for franc in the eighth century, and the other is a decisive struggle in the war of the hundred years in 1356, which won the English language. Sufficiently, only one battle was mentioned in tourist information.

Cathedrale St Pierre

Poites is a small city, given its strategic importance and role as one -time capital for France, and this is its strong view. Three methods were strictly placed in colored paints, and we made two of them, one to the Old City (JAUNE Road) and one to the St. Pleu Cathedral. Each picnic was about one mile. There were some beautiful old buildings, but we were regrettable to reach the old baptism de Saint -Jean at French lunch.

The St. Pierre Cathedral façade was very amazing and we enjoyed looking at all the hard -sculpted small characters in the hallway stone.

In the afternoon, we went to see the murals in the Monastery of Saint Savin, which was about 30 miles east of Betiors. They portrayed scenes from the Bible, including the first five books stories of the Bible. It was interesting, although the exhibition was in French only, which made the translation. That was enough for one day and we returned to Cateau for a beautiful evening meal.
