As responsible for compliance with information technology, you will work in the ITS team – a small cooperative team within the provision of information technology services. The team leads to continuous improvement, problem management and the user’s participation through the Information Technology Services Directorate, which helps colleagues provide high -quality services that meet the user’s needs and regulatory requirements.

In this role, it will help ensure the Directorate will meet the audit obligations, politics and compliance. Your business will support the supervision of risks, data protection and information governance through a wide range of systems and services.

As an information technology compliance officer, you can expect to participate in:

• Coordination of responses for internal and external audit requests and freedom of information requests (FOI), maintaining support for evidence and tracking the check recommendations to a solution
• Maintaining the framework of departments and catalog policy, ensuring timely review, compatibility with university governance, and access to stakeholders.
• Facilitating and contributing to the completion of the Data Protection Impacts (DPIAS) for IT systems and projects, and support for stakeholders in determining the risks of data protection and processing in cooperation with the university DPO.
• Clear production, accessible administration Information reports and paintings to support governance, scrutiny, planning, scrutinizing and controlling risk

What will you bring to this role?

• Experience that can be clarified in supporting audit frameworks, governance or compliance
• I am sure to use Microsoft 365 (especially SharePoint, Excel, Teams and Power Bi/Lists)
• A strong understanding of the principles of data protection and experience in supporting FOI responses or data governance
• A high level of accuracy and attention to details and the ability to manage sensitive information appropriately
