About the role:
Crowdstrike is looking to employ an experienced engineer for the data services team to help us transfer our database systems to the next level. We are looking for a very practical engineer, who loves to work with data plane services such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch/Opensearch, Kafka, Redis, Valkey, MySQL and Postgresql which is comfortable in building automation around the wide -based critical systems. We will look at the nominated CV, taking into account the achievement you have made in the past tells us more about what you can do for us in the future.

Focus: OpenSearch and Elasticsearch

What will you do:

• Keep a deep understanding of data components – including Cassandra, Elasticsearch/Opensearch, Kafka, Zookieger, MySQL, PostGRESQL, Redis, Valkey, Memcache, Pulsar, SQS and use this understanding to operate and automate the groups that have been properly configured.

• Understand the operating databases in Kubernetes and container photo management.

• Developing infrastructure services to support the Crowdstrike Engineering team for the full Devops model.

• Work closely with engineering and customer support to explore the problems of sensitive production of time, regardless of the time they occur.

• Maintaining Petabytes for important business data is safe, safe and available.

What you will need:

• Training management (chef)

• Textual programming in Python and Bash

• Experience with data on a large scale using technologies such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch/Opensearch, Kafka, Zookieeper, MySQL, PostGRESQL, Redis, Valkey, Memcache, Pulsar, SQS

• Experience with large -scale Linux environments and business

• An experience working inside the cloud, preferably Amazon Web Services, GCP and OCI

• The ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams has been proven

• A busy record in making great decisions, especially when it is more important

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• A mixture of confidence and independence with wisdom to see when you ask for help from the rest of the team

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as CS, CI, or Engineering
