The American Institute welcomed the University of Oxford and the Kinder Institute at Kinder University of candidates who have experience in American political development; Political thought or intellectual history with the American focus; Comparative policy (including the United States); Or the Anglo -American relations of the post -PhD position, the duration that begins in January 2026.

About the role

About you

We are looking for candidates, by the time of application, will have completed a PhD during the past three years, who have produced research with the possibility of influencing their field, and who are committed to high -quality teaching.

You will have a clear plan for research and publish during the fellowship period and the ability to manage your search and associated activities. You will have experience in teaching at the level of university level and the ability to teach students with high abilities. You will also have experience in academic management or efficiency, including the ability to plan and organize a basic course for university students and coordinate the teaching team. Finally, you will have the ability to link to people at all levels and build a relationship with summer school students.
