UTA is looking for an executive official for labor affairs at Nashville office. This position is crucial in structuring, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of deals related to wandering and live shows for our artists. The basic responsibilities of this role include reviewing agreements and negotiating the operations of the artists’ tour, working as an innovative commercial partner, providing strategic support and guidance for UTA music agents. This executive authority must be an organized, strategic and skill practitioner that flourishes in a high -size practice that supports a large group of agents.

The lawyer will also defend the interests of UTA, which may include formulating a variety of documents and messages. In addition, the role requires the implementation of new systems and their refinement designed to improve information and documents management operations, in addition to enhancing long -term positive relationships with the company’s customers and customers. This position is ideal for an individual who has strong work ethics, motivation, and a pragmatic approach to solving problems, which can flourish in a fast -paced business environment.
What will you do?
• Negotiating, reviewing and formulating a large amount of direct performance agreements of a wide range of music artists, including the Multiple Diests and Performance Festival and Performance Agreements for one time.
• negotiating the conditions/conditions at the agency level with the buyers of international and local musical talents
• Providing support for business affairs on trademark deals and approval on the Acting Large List, including negotiation and comment on trademark partnership contracts, long -term support agreements, as well as influence and licensing agreements
• Managing the protection messages process, including the formulation and response of protection messages
• Total information from dealerships and accounting teams related to canceling the offer/festivals and bankruptcy that affects many customers
• Helping to create company policies, protocols and best practices

What will you need
• JD degree is required
• Activity license in New York, California or Tennessee Bar
• A strong understanding of the contract law, the intellectual property law, and other related legal fields
• Excellent trade negotiation skills and deals making
• The ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and other industry specialists
• The ability to identify and solve complex legal and commercial issues
• A strong understanding and experience with the music industry, including its various sectors and the main players.
