We are now seeking to obtain an exceptional person to join us as the dean of the Health and Sports School – a pivotal leadership role in our strategic academic transformation. As part of our ambitious strategy for 2035, it will lead one of the new four schools, which leads to excellence in health sciences, mathematical sciences, sports training, and welfare programs, while building significant partnerships that improve life and performance at local, national and international levels.

This role is essential in the successful delivery of the Solent 2035 strategy – our vision to transform life through applied learning, influential research, innovation, and comprehensive growth. As a dean, you will provide a strategic direction for the school, develop strong relationships with NHS partners, sports organizations and employers in the health sector. Our programs will ensure that the results of distinguished graduate studies with the progress of research and innovation that makes a real difference for societies and individuals.

We are looking for an inspiring leader with great experience in health, sports, related specializations in higher education or professional practice. It will achieve a clear success in strategic leadership, partnership development, and team management, with vision and leadership to form the future of health and sports education. Your commitment to excellence, fairness and the success of the student will be very important.

With a great focus on nursing and health, we are particularly interested in applicants from a relevant background, with experience working with NMC.
