West Scotland University (UWS) is seeking to appoint a great lecturer in Scottish Law to join the College of Business and Creative Industries. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal professional looking to move to academic circles or is currently academic, to contribute to the development and provision of high -quality legal education. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in the Family Law and/or voluntary obligations, although requests submitted by those who have specializations in all areas of Scottish law are welcome.

The successful candidate must have the following:

• LLB, diploma and professional legal practice
• The experience of practicing law in Scotland
• The current acceptance of practice as a lawyer in Scotland or modern practice
• Specialization
• Experience in providing legal education (including customer training, CPD delivery, trainee guidance, or academic teaching)
• Show project leadership or team management experience in legal practice or academic circles
• Evidence of preserving the current authority with legal developments and continuous professional development
