The Department of Psychology at the University of Lancaster seeks to appoint A full -time colleague, To work on Protecting ordinary people from the Deepfakes project. This project is funded by Ukrai as part of the Fellowship of Dr. Knightgil’s leaders in the future and focuses on maps fee and alleviate the threats to ordinary people from Deepfake.
The role includes the design and conducting a set of specific (or mixed) studies to better understand how DeepFake is used to cause damage by creating and sharing intimate intimate images (NCII). The working group will include, for example, to conduct interviews and focus groups with stakeholders partners including police, policy makers and those who have been targeted with NCII. The research is also expected to suggest follow -up based on the initial program to work and use results for nutrition in the agenda of the broader project team.
You will be responsible for the project’s daily development and management, from design coordination and preparation of studies to analysis, publishing and influence activities. As such, a successful candidate is expected to have excellent knowledge and experience in leading search programs, as well as efficiency in dealing with sensitive and confidential data. Looking at the speed of artistic innovation in DeepFake, you should be able to follow an evaluation, embarrassment and dynamic approach and develop according to the emerging trends. You will join a multidisciplinary laboratory and is expected to work closely with other team members.

- You have experience working with the weak population or sensitive data
- You have experience in collecting data (personal test, online communication) and data management
- Be an excellent team player
- You have experience in directing other researchers
- You have excellent communication and organization skills
