The Center for Justice and Accountability in Syria (SJAC) is a non -profit Syrian human rights organization that works for justice and accountability with a meaningful of Syria that holds its perpetrators responsible for grievances, which leads to permanent peace.

Bayanat is the solution to open source data management to process huge amounts of data related to human rights violations and war crimes, which have been developed and maintained by SJAC. SJAC, in addition to many other NGOs, uses Bayanat to collect, analyze and share documentation of human rights violations, war crimes and crimes against humanity.

SJAC requests apps for UX designer. SJAC will evaluate applications based on the best total value and create a six -month consulting consultative agreement. The consulting agreement can be extended after this period based on pathological performance and the availability of financing for up to three years.

Summary of the situation

We are looking for a talented and creative UX designer to join our team. In this role, you will design and enhance user interfaces and experiences through our websites and bayanat, with a focus on creating attractive designs centered around the user that pays sharing and ease of use.

Responsibilities

1. Design users, wire frames, and high -resolution models of web applications and web sites flow.
2. Cooperation closely with the director of the product and developers and stakeholders to collect the requirements and understand the project goals.
3. Applying the principles of material design to ensure consistency and ease of use via web facades.
4. Carry out the user research and test the ability to collect ideas and repetition of designs.
5. Ensure that designs are responded to multiple screen sizes and screen sizes.
6. Stay on a permanent view of the latest user interface trends and best web design practices.
7. Attending team meetings.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in interaction between human and computer, computer science or a relevant field.
2. +5 years of expertise in UX design with a strong wallet displaying web design and web applications.
3. Efficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch.
4. Strong visual design skills with attention to details.
5. The basic knowledge of the front technologies (HTML, CSS) is plus.
6. Excellent communication skills to present and explain design concepts.
7. An in -depth understanding of the principles of material design is plus.
