About the role

As a technical supervisor, you will support the research in our facilities at the growing medical college with a various research portfolio. The basic responsibility for managing and maintaining the wings of tissue culture and microbiology laboratories will be borne, which is the highly expanded tissue bank, the associated sample database and assistance to the technical and safety director of technical services and other organizational compliance.

About you

We are looking for a self -motivated person, working hard to work as a technical supervisor. The post requires a proactive, initiative, and ability to work independently, as part of a team, excellent communication skills and personal skills. You will be very organized, with a positive and flexible approach to work in order to deal with a variety of requests and tasks.

Ideally, you will be taught at the level of masters or equivalent, and you have extensive experience in mammary cell culture techniques, molecular biology and some experience in treating and analyzing human tissue samples. Understanding health and safety in terms of its connection to laboratories with biological and chemical risks is necessary. Experience in maintaining and preparing databases, and it is preferable to use specialized software packages, as well as some understanding of the human tissue law in terms of its connection with the acquisition and storage of human tissue samples. Some administrative experience in the laboratory will be an additional benefit. This post fits an experienced world looking to follow a technical profession in laboratory -based research management.
