NBC Nightly news is looking for a production assistant directed towards details to join our team. Responsibilities:
• Helping producers in the sources of visual elements, including video and graphics
• Clear footage and social content of air via digital platforms
• Helping in coordinating logistics services for buds, including travel and field support
• Development of basic editing skills and desktop
• Supporting the production team in the control room during the live broadcast
• Helping the operations of the newsroom, including drawing graphics and video management
• Stadium and research story ideas
• Be available to support urgent news and other editorial needs as it was appointed

Qualifications
• One year of experience in the newsroom or direct broadcast environment (internal training or independent experience is acceptable)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• A strong news ruling and extreme attention to national and international news
• IFALS with INEWS
• The ability to photograph and edit a short video content for use in broadcasting or digital
• You should be able to work on weekends and flexible hours, including evenings and holidays as needed
• You should be ready to work personally in New York City

Required properties
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience with thirsty editing platforms or the first view is plus
• The ability to work quietly under the deadline and in high pressure environments
• It flourishes in the team’s cooperative environment
• ready and able to take on new tasks as needed and support their peers and colleagues
• A subjective start takes the initiative and constantly seeks to learn and develop new skills
• Knowledge of NBC News and broadcasting practices is plus
