We are looking for a post -PhD researcher to join the multidisciplinary diet analysis group at Oxford Martin School. This ambitious project seeks to use large integrated analyzes based on data to set opportunities and threats of climate diet transfers and social flexibility. This work is supported by the British Academy and is part of the multidisciplinary research team based in Oxford Martin School at Oxford University and at the Institute of Environmental Sciences at Liden University in the Netherlands.
The social, economic and environmental dimensions of rapid diet transformations will be explored as part of a team of researchers between specialties. The areas of interest in achieving how to change the diet’s transformations (EG to the diet rich in plants, discounts in food waste) include a diet change for various actors (such as cash flows for producers, treatments), exploring how to convert the food system and climate change, and explore future paths of diet transfers. You will be able to develop your own research ideas and cooperate with team members and other researchers in the future of the Food Program at Oxford Martin School.
You must keep or be close to the end of a doctorate in a related field (such as data science, industrial environment, geography, economics, and environmental sciences). It will bring experience in dietary modeling, with support from a strong technical background that may extend areas such as data science, input and output analysis, applied economic modeling, environmental and environmental evaluation, or geographical information systems. You should also be skilled in dealing with data and programming, and your ability to write and communicate clearly enables you to participate with confidence in various academic fields.
The publication is a full -time period for 2.5 years.
