LSBU offers more than 80 doctoral scholarships in a four -year full -time fee. Scholarships are offered through three colleges: College of Health and Life Sciencesthe College of Technology and Environmentand Community and Professions College. These opportunities are ideal for individuals with a high motivation who have a strong academic background and great attention in following up on a related field of research.

Successful applicants will benefit from supervision by experienced faculty members, and access to dedicated doctoral training, development workshops, and modern facilities in the heart of London.

We welcome requests from candidates in all areas of research that are in line with university strategic topics.

What makes this grant exceptional?

• A waiver of full tuition fees for up to four years (which reflects the standard doctoral schedule in LSBU). This prize allows you to fully search in your research without the burden of training course fees.
• With about 100 awards available for the 2025/26 session, the advisor’s grant represents a major investment in future academic leaders.
• Open to full-time applicants in the UK, the European Union and international applicants who shine in the new LSBU research program-PhD students and LSBU employees are not qualified to obtain this award.
