Reporting: Director of the Assistant Doctor

The goal of this post:

The main goal of this position is to provide teaching, coordination and study of the RCSI PA program by handing over experts from PA educational units and elements, including directing Palestinian Authority students during their higher experience after graduates.

RCSI is looking for a professional, passionate for teaching, who wants to contribute to work as an academic in a multicultural environment. A successful candidate will appear enthusiasm, initiative, organization and excellent communication skills.

Beyond pregnant women will be placed in the Palestinian Authority program as part of the Faculty of Medicine.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Educational education
    • Provide lectures, laboratories and small group sessions in specific content areas.
    • Developing, updating and evaluating training course materials and exams.
  • Clinical teaching and support
    • Help in teaching clinical year, including pre -sharing, site evaluation, and student progress.
    • Facilitate clinical places for students in cooperation with the Director of Clinical Education.
  • Academic advice and student support
    • It is the advisor of the faculty members appointed to a group of Palestinian Authority students.
    • Providing educational and vocational development instructions.
    • Helping treatment activities when students appear shortcomings.
  • Program and institutional service
    • The service in the admission and participation committee in employment, interview and selection of applicants.
    • Evolution in the evaluation of the ongoing program and quality improvement initiatives.
    • Supervising the scholarship program for students in cooperation with the RCSI Development Office.
    • As a representative of a program for learning initiatives between professionals.
    • It works on the administrations, college, or additional university committees as appointed.
  • Vocational grant and development
    • Contributing to program research initiatives, publications and presentations.
    • Maintaining clinical practice to enhance the importance of teaching.
    • Stay currently with trends in teaching the Palestinian Authority and clinical practice.
  • Community and professional participation
    • The program represents community awareness, professional organizations, and the participation of the clinical partner.

Personal specifications:

  • Doctorate in the field of relevant topic.
  • Master’s degree (required) and the current national certificate as the doctor’s assistant.
  • A group of strong interest and skills, as shown in an experiment, a busy record in, and enthusiasm for the students of the relevant graduate studies.
  • Register competitive research internationally, as shown by the publications that the peacocks reviewed in quality magazines/high effects and grant support (required but not required).
  • Hamas for your specialized teaching area and the ability to involve your students to transfer this passion and learn successfully.
  • The ability to original thought and the ability to produce original teaching methods and event.
  • The ability to constantly adapt and create teaching methods to ensure full understanding of students.
  • Show attention in searching for ways and opportunities to support the full development of students.

The specifications of the desired person:

  • An effective communication method for the public and the situation.
  • A strong commitment to possessing personal and vocational development.
  • It has excellent time management skills for effective progress in all areas of the three responsibilities (teaching, research and service).
  • Strong working relationships can be built and preserved.
  • It has an installed ability for both independent work and teamwork.
