With specialists focusing on information technology, real estate development, real estate and facilities at the university level, the Directorate of Technology, property and facilities (DTEF) provides solutions through both material and digital landscapes. Our primary goal is to provide services and facilities that meet the needs of both the university and the broader society, as well as support the strategic goals of the university and its commitment to the public good by creating an educational and stimulating environment and work science.

The Information Technology Services Department is necessary to provide these goals, and provide infrastructure and services that support all aspects of customer experience.

The network and data centers team is responsible for the critical network services at the university that support almost every activity in the university community, as well as the campus data centers that are provided by many of our important digital services. Our vast campus currently consists of:

• More than 70,000 wire outlets

• More than 8000 network devices, including more than 5000 Wi -Fi access points

• More than 25,000 WiFi contacts simultaneously (growth and growth)

• More than 300 wire centers, connected to the infrastructure of the optical fibers and the many optical fibers

As a pioneering university led by research, our society relies on an excellent network connection to support a wide range of its activities.

This will be the main role in our important business team responsible for the deployment and maintenance of the WiFi network infrastructure at the campus level, as it works closely with the network operations manager to ensure its compatibility with the principles of architecture and network principles. Close cooperation with other teams within information technology services and all parts of the university will be necessary, as well as developing and sponsoring relationships with strategic external connection partners.

By the ability to give priority to their own activities, as well as the desire to provide major customer services, the postal holder will play a major role in ensuring that network related services are effectively and efficiently, and supporting work goals at the university.

The necessary skills, experience and qualifications

• Level 3 qualification. (Qualifications at this level include a degree. Please View full menu). We also welcome applicants with non -equivalent qualifications or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience can be clarified in the design, delivery and operation of WiFi network network services in large complex and compared institutions.

• Network’s knowledge and relevant safety technologies and their application in complex large organizations similar to university.

• Experience in the services and projects of the important business, and successful delivery in time and budget.

• The work experience as part of the multi -skilled IT team within a large and complex organization.

• Experience in creating and managing relationships with external partners and suppliers.

• The ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and conditions has proven, setting the priorities of work burdens with minimal supervision, with time management skills – for yourself and his colleagues under your management/direction.

• The ability to create and share relevant information with colleagues at different levels.

• The ability to collect and understand the requirements of non -standard rulings and services, and then design and publish solutions to meet these needs.

• The ability to give priority to work burdens with minimal supervision, with time management skills – for yourself and his colleagues under your administration/direction.

• The bleaching ability to analyze and solve problems related to a dynamic and proactive approach, either as part of a team or work independently.
