Submit to Judith McKinsey Fellowship to visit and cooperate with the Ethz Earth and Planetary!

Judith McKenzi’s fellowship that visits the researcher’s researcher early is open to doctoral students that determine women (in any year of their program) and postdocs (within three years of obtaining a doctorate degree) who are currently registered at a university or research institute. The goal of this fellowship is to enhance scientific interactions, develop wider research networks, and ultimately to help improve gender representation in our society.

The applicant’s deadline is October 31, 2025.

Successful colleagues will receive:

• The salary of 2500 Swiss francs per month for 2-6 months to help compensate for living expenses
• Access to administrative analytical facilities
• The office space associated with the professor’s research group
• Support in finding temporary housing visa applications and/or visitors

Preference will be granted to applicants whose active research interests are complementary to the projects taking place in the department and/or that can benefit from specific experience or analytical facilities of our flight attendants. Funding is available to grant up to three fellowships in the current school year.

Interested applicants must submit:

• Support letter from the host professor at ETH
• The biography consisting of two pages
• A short stimulus letter (a maximum pages) also shows the research plan and how the fellowship will benefit the scientific profession of the applicant. A signal should be given to the required period of the fellowship.
